How many calories will I burn in a class?
The number of calories you burn is based on your heart rate, but generally an average person tends to burn
between 500-700 calories during an hour long class.
Can I cycle if I am injured?
Spun strongly recommends that you receive medical clearance before entering into any type of exercise program
if you have an existing injury. Once cleared, cycling is a great way to get a cardiovascular workout with
low impact on your body.
Can I take one of your classes if I have never cycled before?
The beauty of indoor cycling is that each class focuses on your level of exertion. Therefore
a complete novice can be next to an athlete and experience the same workout.
What should I wear?
Be sure to wear breathable clothing, preferably material that wicks away sweat. Form-fitting clothing is also
suggested. Make sure to bring plenty of water and a towel!
When should I get there?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class start to setup your bike. Please remember, entry will not be permitted
once class has begun.
